onsen in the foggy dread

today naoko and I traveled to hakone, a region near tokyo famous for 'getting away.' It was a rather peaceful area and I felt that it was similar to being in the cascades, at lower altitude of course. We managed to find an onsen and had a nice time bathing outdoors! Then we had some delicious soba from a local restaurant that was recommended by one of the onsen staff. photos

Beautiful pictures. Naoko is now my screen background. Today is Thanksgiving and Doug just left for work. Danny and I will be leaving for the Arnolds shortly. Already thinking about what to have for our Thanksgiving feast next weekend. Be sure and let us know your arrival details. I know you aren't wanting to think about leaving right now. Love to you and Naoko too.

Happy Post-Thanksgiving!
I had a nice time at home whilst mom prepped some T-Day items. I prepped some video that's due Sunday. At work I've had a 'to-go' turkey dish, not exactly inspiring! I'll be home soon to enjoy some pie (I hope) since there is none of that here.
Next week we can have something special! I vote for Chai tea among other things. Love the mirror shot!
